Help American Seniors

How I wish the One Big Beautiful Bill included Zero Taxes on Social Security for Seniors.

It could provide long-term custodial care for those who don't qualify for Medicaid and have little income to afford an in-home caregiver.

Zero Social Security taxes for seniors must become a permanent policy, not a short-term promise. And it should go further: no property taxes for homeowners 65 and above.

Why stop there? Seniors renting but not qualifying for Medicaid deserve Section 8 support.

Millions of Americans are aging without care or coverage. Their children leave their jobs to step in, sacrificing careers, income, and stability. Why is there still no national plan for long-term senior care?

It’s time to prioritize the people who built this country. Seniors should be allowed to live a life with less financial burden and stress. #SeniorCareCrisis #LongTermCare #PolicyNow

Economic Reality Check:

In-home care costs over $60,000/year. If you're a senior who earns just above Medicaid limits, there’s no help. No coverage. No safety net.

Our Congress should change that:

How?

Why not exempt seniors from Social Security taxes, remove property taxes after 65, and let them use that money for care?

That'll allow them to age with dignity. Whether we like it or NOT, most of us will one day become part of these demographics, and we can all use this benefit. #CareForSeniors #TaxRelief #FairAging

Global Comparison:

Why were Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands able to provide a program for their seniors?

These countries provide universal long-term care without bankrupting families. Why is the U.S., one of the wealthiest nations on earth, still leaving middle-income seniors and family caregivers to fend for themselves?

It’s not a question of possibility. It’s a question of political will. We can do better. We must. #GlobalCare #SeniorCare #HealthJustice

The Invisible Cost of Custodial Long-Term Care.

Family caregivers lose $10,000+ a year in wages when they leave their jobs to care for aging parents who need round-the-clock assistance. This isn’t just a personal sacrifice—it’s an economic crisis.

With the push for more American manufacturing, we’re removing skilled workers from the labor force without offering them any support.

Let’s stop making family caregivers choose between family and financial ruin. If America brings back local production, we need an American labor force instead of recruiting from other countries. #CaregiverBurden #Economy #SupportCaregivers

A National Model for Long-Term Care:

Washington State did it with its WA Cares Fund, a public long-term care insurance program, and Medicaid programs like the Tailored Supports for Older Adults (TSOA). The rest of the country can, too. A federal long-term care insurance program could guarantee every senior the support they need without waiting for Medicaid to kick in.

This is about dignity, not dependency.

Our aging population deserves a policy built for reality, not bureaucracy. #LongTermCareNow #PolicyChange #ProtectOurElders 6/7 Community-Powered Solutions Small businesses could lead the future of senior care—but only if we back them.

With targeted grants, tax breaks, and subsidies, local providers can offer affordable, high-quality care that fits real community needs. Support seniors. Empower small businesses. It’s a win-win for everyone. #SeniorCare #SmallBusiness #LocalSolutions

The Rallying Cry:

No senior should suffer without care. No family should go broke providing it. We can’t wait for the perfect policy—we need people power now.

Call your lawmakers. Demand national action on long-term care. Together, we can fix this. #SeniorCareCrisis #ActNow #DignityForAll
